Christy Lee's Courtyard Grill

Article Title Here

We decided to try the new Christy Lee's Courtyard Grill in Blue Ridge this week. When we got downtown we realized it was Wednesday and immediately feared it might be closed. We were happy to find out that it was in fact open on this Wednesday evening.

It was one of the first beautiful days of spring and in the mid 60's so we decided to sit on the patio. They have a great courtyard. Most of the tables are under cover, and there are several in the courtyard where on a nice day you could enjoy the sun. Each table also has an umbrella so that can be used on the hot days. Personally, I look forward to enjoying sitting in the sun. I love a good patio.

The menu has a good selection of seafood, beef and chicken. They also have a raw bar with oysters. We chose calamari for to start. Our entrees were blackened chicken and prime rib. Each entree came with a side salad, veggies and choice of potato. I highly recommend the Daulphin potatos...yummy. I would describe them as sliced potatos layered with a light cheese cream sauce. We also of course took advantage of a bottle of sparkling wine to share. I always love it when we order sparkling wine. They always assume it is some special occasion and I get to answer with my normal response of "nah, its just Wednesday". I love sparkling wine and think it should be served more!

The owner came out and chatted with us for a little while and described the events (crab boil) that they are planning on having in the courtyard. I will be watching out to see these events when they occur.
